Alice's interest in science journalism is a particularly new influence for her art. News about space exploration and view photographs taken by satellites or by telescopic cameras became a starting point for a group of her drawings.
Scientific descriptions, photographs and explanations of the structure and growth of the universe in current astronomy articles has inspired the subjects for a group of drawings begun in April of 2008.
