Inspired through an understanding of geological events and timescales, Wildblood seeks to recreate small natural observations of the underlay which constructs the foundation and origin for the support of life. The infinite diversity and relentless survivability of Earth’s flora and Fauna breeds a need within Wildblood to seek a similar solution to arid materials, like annually bringing moisture to Brittain’s only desert. Wildblood’s practice involves balance, flow and movement but also interruption of all these three. He creates performative sculptures that are put into a stable motion or into a balanced state. Then through some form of interruption the systems become unstable and the action occurs. The objects and unwitting participants become the centre of the action through a chaotic series of events.
