L'installation présente un dispositif technique en voie de transition où l'analogue bascule vers le numérique. Elle expose une aire de travail abandonnée, un poste de régie destiné à créer une performance numérique. En regardant bien - le supposé atelier se dévoile comme une salle orchestrée, une salle performative qui "parle". La pièce est remplie de multiples références, de l'enregistré au construit, de la présence à l'absence, du visible à l'invisible, se fondant les unes aux autres pour créer une méta mise en scène de la pratique artistique de kondition pluriel. Elle révèle différentes manières de voir le corps humain, renvoie à la notion de perception, à la multiplicité des points de vue et aux processus de notation. Un dialogue entre l'humain et la machine au sein duquel tous les éléments sont encapsulés à l'intérieur d'un processus temporel qui devient autonome et se re-déclenche encore et encore.
Ce projet est une coproduction avec l'Université des Arts Appliqués, à Vienne, en partenariat avec le MuseumsQuartier, à Vienne, en Autriche. kondition pluriel est soutenu par le Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, le Conseil des Arts de Montréal et le Conseil des Arts du Canada

kondition pluriel est reconnu pour son travail interdisciplinaire utilisant l'art vivant et les nouvelles technologies. Évoluant à la frontière de installation et du spectacle, ce groupe cherche à définir de nouveaux modes de représentation. L'équilibre entre l'être humain et les éléments technologiques, la spécificité des sites de performance et la participation du public sont des éléments pivots de leur langage artistique. La compagnie fut fondée en 2000 par Marie-Claude Poulin et Martin Kusch. kondition pluriel a donné plusieurs performances, conférences et ateliers en Europe, au Brésil, au Canada, aux États-Unis et au Japon. Ses travaux ont été présentés dans des festivals, des galeries et des institutions, tel que Dance Umbrella, FIND, Transmediale, ISEA, Transcodex et ZKM.
Fondé en 2005 par des artistes et intervenants en arts interdisciplinaires, le Regroupement des arts interdisciplinaires du Québec (RAIQ) défend les intérêts professionnels des artistes, des compagnies et des diffuseurs interdisciplinaires, propose des formations et des rencontres, veille à l'amélioration des conditions socio-économiques et des conditions de pratique de ses membres et participe activement au développement et au rayonnement de l'interdisciplinarité.

The installation proposes a technical apparatus in a state of transition: where analog transforms into digital. It displays an abandoned set-up, a control-post, for creating a digital performance. On closer inspection, the workspace reveals itself to be an orchestrated room, a performative space that "speaks." The room is filled with references, from the recorded to the constructed, the presence and the absence, the visible to the invisible -together melting into a meta-staging of kondition pluriel's artistic practice. It reveals different ways of looking at the human body and reflects upon perception, viewpoints and the process of notation. A dialogue between the human and the machine in which all elements are encapsulated within a temporal process that becomes autonomous and triggers itself over and over again.
This project is a commission of, and co-production with, the Department of Digital Arts at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna in partnership with the MuseumsQuartier, Vienna, Austria. The work of kondition pluriel is supported by the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, the Conseil des Arts de Montréal and the Canada Council for the Arts.

kondition pluriel is known for the creation of interdisciplinary work incorporating live arts and new technologies. Evolving at the border between installation and spectacle, the group seeks to define new modes of representation. The balance between human and technological elements, the specificity of the performance sites and the participation of the public are pivotal parameters of its artistic language. The company was founded in 2000 by Marie-Claude Poulin and Martin Kusch. kondition pluriel has given many performances, conferences and workshops in Europe, Brazil, Canada, the United States and Japan. Founded in 2005 by artists and cultural workers within the interdisciplinary arts, the Regroupement des arts interdisciplinaires du Québec (RAIQ) rallies for, and represents, artists, collectives and companies working in or presenting interdisciplinary arts practices.
