NWSP Writers 2010 Laura Edbrook | Norman Hogg
Laura Edbrook and Norman Hogg both graduated Edinburgh College of Art this year. Laura in from MA Contemporary Art Theory and Norman in MFA Visual Culture. The New Writing Scotland Project is based on an open policy of submissions with eligibility restricted to final year fine art/art theory graduates from across Scotland, along with recent graduates based in Scotland. The New Writing Scotland Project has grown out of Collective’s New Work Scotland Programme and was initiated in collaboration with Edinburgh College of Art’s Centre for Visual & Cultural Studies. The NWSP promotes new creative and critical writing within the visual arts coupled with targeted support to the New Work Scotland artists – providing them with their first commissioned texts. Priority is given to new, less established writers. Writers receive a commissioning fee to support development of their writing practice.
