About the Fair
The inaugural edition of Art Los Angeles Contemporary (ALAC) will be held January 28-31, 2010 at the iconic Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. The fair launches in the heart of Hollywood at the Pacific Design Center with a roster of top international blue chip and emerging galleries from around the world, curated on site installations, an artist lecture series, panels and film screenings.
The fair will occupy 50,000 square feet of exhibition space on the building's 2nd floor with galleries housed inside multiple interconnected showrooms. The galleries will feature a wide array of new works from both established and emerging artists, and will spotlight the curatorial skill of each gallery.
Home to internationally renowned museums, leading art schools, hundreds of contemporary galleries, and a prodigious number of practicing artists, Los Angeles serves as an ideal landscape for a progressive, international contemporary art fair.
