Festival 10 Deadline:
July 18, 2010 Athens Photo Festival 2010, the annual
festival of photography in Greece and a premiere cultural
event in Athens, is organized by the Hellenic Centre for
Photography this autumn. The festival's programme covers a
wide range of solo and group exhibitions with national and
international artists as well as a number of other parallel

The Super 8 Festival Détours,
Santorini, Greece Deadline: July 25th,
2010 The
Super 8 Festival Détours in Santorini (Greece) is now
accepting films for its third edition. It will be occurring
this summer August 27th through 29th 2010: three nights of
white walls and Super 8 outdoors projections around the maze
of tiny streets of one of the most beautiful island in the
Mediterranean. The white walls of Oia village will become
natural screens and images will be floating in the streets.

Photography - 2010 WIP- LTI / Lightside Individual Project
& Materials Grants Deadline: July 15th,
2010
Women in Photography is pleased to
announce the 2010 WIP- LTI / Lightside Individual Project
Grant, funded by LTI / Lightside Photographic Services with
guest judge Karen Irvine. The $3,000 grant award will provide
funding to one female photographer to support project costs.
In addition WIPNYC is excited to announce the 2010 WIP- LTI /
Lightside Materials Grant, funded by Kodak. This grant
provides $1000 in artists choice of Kodak materials and will

Laboratory Berlin Open Call for
Proposals Deadline: 15 August
2010Art Laboratory Berlin is seeking
artists and/ or artist collectives with proposals for two
projected series to be exhibited from mid 2011 to late 2012.
The projects should involve an investigation of the themes
from a 21st century viewpoint, taking into account the myriad
changes, technologically, socially, visually in world culture
over the last 25 years. We are particularly interested in work
that goes beyond the post-modern structures that are
commonplace in much of today's art world. Read

Thanatopolis at I-Park, Connecticut,

2010Thanatopolis, an alternative memorial
park/space in the advanced conceptual phase of its
development, is looking for works that harmonize with the
long-term goal of the project, which is to re-imagine our
cultural and personal relationship to death, memory and
memorialization - and to engage the above creative fields to
bring about a new, profoundly sacred and evocative
landscape/sound-space. Selected projects will be presented at

artworks for the city center of Berlin. The projects should
address the relationship between art and health, referring to

The Royal

2010The Royal Standard invites artists
working in all media and at any stage in their career to apply
for our 2010 Artist Residency Programme. Applications are
welcomed from artists based in the UK and overseas, and
although we cannot accept applications from current
undergraduate students we welcome applications from recent
graduates. Two artists will be selected to work in our gallery
space for a period of 21 days each, followed by the
opportunity to showcase any work made during a culminating

The Picture This Writing residency is
an opportunity for a non-Bristol based writer / curator to
spend one month developing new written work. We are looking
for a writer / curator who would be interested in basing
