The Magnum
Foundation and the Inge Morath Foundation announce the tenth
annual Inge Morath Award. The annual prize of $5,000 is
awarded by the Magnum Foundation to a female documentary
photographer under the age of 30, to support the completion of
a long-term documentary project. One award winner and up to
two finalists are selected by a jury composed of Magnum
photographers.

directions. Thus, we hope to have a logo that will adequately
transmit this vision of a new institutional format in a global

artists: I'm organizing a juried group show of anti-war art
that will open June 23 in North Adams, MA (home of Mass MoCA,
the largest contemporary art museum in the United States).
"End of an Empire" will feature art dealing with military
actions the US has undertaken since the close of the Cold War.
Richard Rand, the Senior Curator at the Clark Art Institute,
will be the juror.

is an art competition exclusively for painters, providing a
unique and affordable opportunity for both students and
practicing artists to exhibit their work in a major exhibition
in the UK. The voluntarily run project, directed by Antria
Pelekanou (co-director of 'Persona Art Festival' and chief
curator of 'A Moving Exhibition') will run from 3-17 March
2012 at the Nails Gallery in Bristol city centre. The
initiative of this project is to enhance the experience of
Bristol's residents and visitors, building on Bristol's
reputation as a cultural and creative city.
